The footbridge from Dock 1 is open.
Great news. Visitors can now easily walk to the ship. Renewal SA have opened the gates across Dock 1 bridge, and cleared the path for pedestrians and cyclists who wish to access Clipper Ship from south of Dock 2. The gates will be opened daily at dawn and closed at dusk by RSA security contractor AMS. The Clipper ship is now only 10 minutes walk from Port Dock Railway Station, and from the red lighthouse.
